Thanks Liz for the great transformation you have made in my English language level. I was preparing to sit the English exam for UK settlement and indefinite leave to remain. I failed to pass it twice and I found it hard for me. With the help of Liz for 2 months only, I have got the level and confidence to pass the exam smoothly first shot after her help. She is an excellent expert and great language teacher.

On Chiara Strazzulla's Day School.
The CSI: Middle Ages day school was a delight. Stimulating, thought provoking and entertaining. Diverse cases and characters from different periods plus an insight into modern techniques for investigating and challenging the past. Many thanks to your lecturer Chiara and you the organisers.

I am writing to review the tuition my daughter received from Liz Mayor.
My daughter sat her GCSE exams this year and for her Latin she had tuition from Liz Mayor. My daughter got A* in Latin!

Having struggled with the jump from GCSEs to A-Levels, we decided to enlist the help of Liz to aid our daughter in her studies. This was perhaps the best decision we could have made, as Liz gave our daughter the confidence and assurance she needed to complete her A-Level exams. Not only did Liz help her academically, but her caring nature ensured a less stressful passage through the exam period and for that we cannot thank her enough. Her knowledge, experience and expertise in a wide range of fields meant that with her help. our daughter felt she could overcome any obstacle. Therefore, we would not hesitate to recommend Liz to anyone!

Our son was disappointed with his marks in school as although he tried hard his English language skills let him down. Liz was able to get his attention and keep him focused helping him realise that he could do it! His command of the English language (and his ability to use the right words at the right time) improved dramatically and his results improved with this new found confidence. He thoroughly enjoyed his time with Liz whatever subject they worked on. His exams have gone very well and he has a much improved attitude to his studies. We can't thank Liz enough and would recommend her without hesitation. Thanks Liz!
Lesley Williams, Lisvane March 2016.
Our son has an appetite for sports - rugby, football, cross country and an endless capacity for computer games and television browsing. He is, therefore, a 'normal' 13 year old boy!
So you'd expect him to be reluctant to divorce himself from such activities, to jump in a car for a weekly English lesson! Not once has he complained and I would love to know how Liz managed to to keep his attention and indeed improve his English school work. His reading and writing has certainly improved, he went from 'middling' to the top of his class in a very short period of time. Thank you Liz. If he starts falling behind, we will be back.
Jamie B who was studying for the University Equivalence Exams says, ......
After receiving my disappointing GCSE result for my English Language on a Thursday in August 2015 - I was devastated as this meant I was not able to progress to the next steps of my career pathway. After searching to locate an English Language tutor for immediate tutoring i located Liz via the internet. What a find!! Liz responded immediately to my call. She arranged one to one sessions from Saturday through to Tuesday (2 hours personal tutoring each day). This was an intensive programme to study at such short notice, however Liz was able accommodate me and provided me with inspirational encouragement with a positive learning environment and rebuilt my knowledge to sit the exam on the following Wednesday. I gained the B grade I required and I was accepted to start my PGCE (Maths and Outdoor Education) course. I will be forever grateful to Liz for her positive approach and for accommodating me at such short notice. It has been an amazing experience working with her.
